Who can train at The Lab?

The Lab is open to youth, high school, and adult athletes. While our primary focus is baseball and softball development, we also support multi-sport athletes looking to improve movement quality, strength, and confidence.

 

Can I hit with my Son/Daughter at The Lab?

Yes! Of course. When you have the reservation (through the Zen Planner App) you have that station "reserved" and can utilize for your 40 minute session. Typically folks will reserve the Batting Cage for 40, and then the Turf/Pitching/Fielding Station for the 40 minutes following your Cage session. 

 

What does being a "Member" at The Lab allow me to do? 

You have a full baseball/softball training facility at your leisure (based on your membership) whenever you want it. You can book  When you have the reservation (through the Zen Planner App) you have that station "reserved" and can utilize for your 40 minute session. Typically folks will reserve the Batting Cage for 40, and then the Turf/Pitching/Fielding Station for the 40 minutes following your Cage session. 
 

Do I need to be a member to train at The Lab?

No. Memberships and bookings through Zen Planner are their own category. Private lessons, group training, and full facility rentals are available to both members and non-members.
 

What types of training are offered?

The Lab offers:

  • Private hitting and pitching lessons

  • Group training sessions

  • Team and club practices

  • Open gym access (with membership or booking)

  • Full facility rentals for teams, parties, and events
     

Can parents stay and watch?

Yes. The Lab has a lounge area where parents can relax, work, or watch while athletes train. If you want to hit while catching the big game on ESPN, we’ve got you covered.
 

Can an athlete hit by themselves?

Yes. Both pitching machines will be equipped with auto feeders, allowing athletes to hit independently once available. This makes it possible for athletes to get quality reps even when training alone.
 

What equipment is required?

  • Batting helmets are mandatory in all batting cages

  • Catcher’s masks are required when catching live pitching

  • Athletes should bring their own bats, gloves, and helmets when possible
     

Are metal spikes allowed?

No spikes are allowed in The Lab. No exceptions.
This includes metal and molded spikes. Turf shoes or clean athletic shoes only.

 

Is The Lab available for team or private rentals?

Yes. Full facility rentals are available for teams, organizations, private groups, birthday parties, and special events. Rentals include exclusive access to the entire space during your reserved time.
 

How long are private lessons?

Private hitting and pitching lessons are typically 30 minutes per session. Multi-session packages are recommended for long-term development, while single sessions are available for evaluations and tune-ups.
 

What age groups do you work with?

We work with athletes of all ages and experience levels. Training is always tailored to the athlete’s age, ability, and goals.
 

How do I book a session or rental?

Memberships and individual bookings are managed through Zen Planner. For team rentals, special events, or full facility reservations, please contact The Lab directly.
